New footage from the Smallville final season kicked off the panel:

Super Season 10 Scene-Stealers:
- Lois (Erica Durance) finds the infamous blue and red super-suit in the Kent farmhouse (in fact, the same of Superman Returns)
- Chloe and Oliver (Justin Hartley) kiss
- Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman) is still alive, but being held captive
- Cat Grant joins Clark (Tom Welling) at the Daily Planet while Lois is off in Africa as a field correspondent
- We hear the word "Superman"
- Chloe says "Goodbye Clark," as she picks up Dr. Fate's gold helmet.

Super Villain: "This year we have a little different twist on the villain," executive producer Brian Peterson said. "We're bringing in Darkseid, but he's going to come in a little different form than you're used to seeing, so we're going to switch it up a little."

Super Secrets: Lois found out Clark's little secret in the season finale, but won't be sharing the news, even with him. "She decides not to tell him that she knows for a while," Durance told TVGuide.com after the panel."She finds all these ways to hide it and make it easy for him to do what he's got to do to get away from her, so he can be that superhero and fulfill that destiny. But, in true Lois fashion, I'm sure she'll get tired of keeping secrets."

Super Surprise: As mentioned above, Tess Mercer is alive. Rejoice! She will even be
helping Clark and Oliver at Watchtower, Freeman told TVGuide.com. However, "There's a huge secret from her past discovered in mid-season that is going to come back, that she tries to keep from people, but it's really going to change things around for her. This twist is going to define whether or not she's destined for goodness or badness."

Super Endings: Mack will be leaving the show this season, and Peterson said they will wrap the storyline "in a way that's fitting for Chloe." Her romance with Oliver will play a key role in that. "She gives herself up for him, like a trade almost," Hartley told TVGuide.com. "He is trying to figure out who's behind it, and he's been told that they killed her, so he's kind of tormented. His whole quest is to try to figure out where she is."

Super Behind-the-Scenes: Welling will be directing two episodes in the new season, and Hartley will take his first spin in the director's chair. There's also good news for Durance fans that campaigned for her to be in 22 episodes: Mission accomplished.

Super Returning Characters: Jonathan Kent (played by John Schneider, who surprised fans by showing up to the panel) will return, along with Brainiac (James Marsters), Kara (Laura Vandervoort) Carter Hall (Michael Shanks) and Plastique (Jessica Parker Kennedy), who has become a member of the Suicide Squad. Peterson also said they're in discussions to get Lionel Luther (John Glover) back on the series. And as for his progeny, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), the producers said the door was always open.

Super New Characters: Besides Granny Goodness, who appeared in the finale, and Darkseid, along with his harbingers, viewers will meet Rick Flag, a member of the Suicide Squad. Also, Geoff Johns, who wrote "Absolute Justice" last season, will be doing a Booster Gold and Blue Beetle episode that will feature Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle, Skeets, and possibly Ted Kord.

Super Wait: Clark Kent will become Superman by the end of the year. "There are some
people who don't like the fact that we've waited this long to do the suit or become Superman," Welling told TVGuide.com. "You also have to understand that if we had done that in Season 1, we would've been done. The fact that we've lasted this long is because we've struggled and tried to put off the inevitable this long."

According to Kryptonsite , the returning of Alessandro Juliani who performed Dr. Emil Hamilton and Michael Shanks who performed Hawkman is CONFIRMED.

Juliani will be on season premiere "Lazarus" and Shanks in the second episode "Shield"...
So...who else is in? ....GUESS!!!

Since we know that KARA is back we were trying to guess in what episode she was going to appear...well, not worry...because this is the BIG ANNOUNCE made by Anne Cofell (Smallville writer):

"Yes I am writing Ep. 3 Supergirl...!"

So...

Laura Vandervoort will be appearing in episode 3 called "Supergirl" reprising her role of Clark´s cousin...and who knows maybe wearing the red-blue colors and giving fly lessons to Clark...hahaha!

TOM WELLING IS SPOTTED AT VANCOUVER

You know that "Smallville" shooting began last Monday...so...all the cast is in Vancouver now...It seems that Mr Welling needed some fruits, vegetables and cereal...so...he went to the Urban Fare Supermarket in a quick...faster than a bullet!

Photos were taken on Tuesday July 13 in downtown Vancouver.

He´s wearing a Boston Red Sox cap and a T-shirt from the Cape Poge Wildlife Refuge (Martha´s Vineyard Massachussets)

SUPERGIRL RETURNS!!!

The kryptonian cousin of Clark, Kara, will be appearing again...

Laura Vandervoort, who was working on "Smallville" during season 7 and had a cameo on season 8, is part of "V" show...

It seems like Warner Brothers wants to finish in a good way its longlife series "Smallville" getting back those special characters that all the fandom has been asking for...

In that way, they have come back John Schneider for performing his role of Jonathan Kent (Clark´s father) (maybe in two episodes) and Laura Vandervoort for performing her role as Kara / Supergirl (maybe only one episode)...

It sounds like music for me, because it looks like there is a chance to have Michael Rosenbaum returning to his awesome portrayal of Lex Luthor, right?

Well, if you remember, Tom Welling at the CW Upfronts said that he wanted to see a lot of characters of past seasons returning and specially he talked about Lex Luthor...

Since, he´s an Executive Producer of the "Smallville" tv show, perhaps this longtime wish of fans could happens...

Yeah! As incredible as it sounds....Tom Welling who plays the leading role of Clark Kent /Kal El/ The Blur on "Smallville" tv show will be attending the San Diego Comic Con 2010!!!
He´ll be there with Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Cassidy Freeman, Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders.
The pannel will be moderated by Geoff Johns, who wrote The Justice Society double episode last season and now is Chief Creative Officer at DC Comics.
The pannel will be on room 20 at 10.00 am on July,Sunday 25
So...To go there it´s a must!

On June 25 2009, Michael Jackson, The King of Pop, passed away....
Now, one year later we´re remembering to him...
His music will endure forever...



I know this is not a site about him...but I had to post something about Michael...
He was not only a great artist, but he was also a humanitarian person that cares about people and the world...
When Africa needed help (1984) he was the first one to offer it...and joining his natural talent with Quincy Jones prepared the recording of "We are the World" a song performed by all the most important artists of that decade...
So...I prepared the following video...just to make a homage for such incredible person that it was Michael Jackson...The King of Pop forever!

In the Emmy Magazine this network has launched a campaign for the following shows:

They were submitted for Outstanding Drama Series.
In the case of Smallville, it has received 3 Emmy Awards before (2002, 2006, 2008)

If you are trying to know the reason of this title...I´m sorry, but there is not more information ...

Only speculations...maybe it could make reference to the Bible (Lazarus resucited) making a comparison with Clark, as you know he was falling down in Salvation...who knows...it wasn´t the first time referring about something religious....

Al Septien confirmed, via Twitter, yesterday, that it was truth...it is the title for first episode...

They were asked about their participation in Smallville, here some quotes about it:

Sam: "Michael Rosenbaum wasn't there. They needed someone to provide a threat"

Laura: "With Kara, they needed someone from his family and from his home planet to kind of teach him about his past and his family"

Smallville ends: Impact over BC film industry

Since this is the last season of Smallville, the West Coast film industry of B.C.(Canada)is lamenting its departure.
Paul Klassen, business representative for the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 891, said that more than 200 hundred cast and crew from Vancouver will lose the 9 month earnigs per year that this awesome production gives up.
He also said:

" Smallville will be remembered as one of the most successful series shot in B.C...and it has showcased what B.C. can deliver"

Richard Lucas, president of Vancouver agency Lucas Talent, said that:

"They (Smallville)have been a very respected and respectful part of our industry for many years...There are very few clients that I represent who have not been cast on the show."

Actually, one of this talents was Kristin Kreuk, who performed Lana Lang for 7 seasons, she said:

"It did everything for my career...Smallville cast a lot of local actors, which was really great. It was a really nice environment to work in...The show was incredibly supportive of everybody there...We all really looked after each other and cared for each other"

Fortunately, the pilot of the new show approved by the CW "Hellcats", was shot by many of the same crew who work on Smallville...So, maybe they´ll have a chance to get this new job and we´ll have the chance to still watching a show with a good quality level.

So....despite the break out of Lois and Clark in Hostage, they will be together again (maybe ´cause the awesome kiss in Salvation) ...but not all it´s good...Clark will be sad and mad during his final trials...in order to became the long waited Superman, the major super hero of all the times....and Tess...well, maybe she becomes in Grany Goodness´s female fury

During the CW Upfronts, Tom Welling was interviewed and give some hints about how the last season of Smallville could be.
Read carefully, between lines...

Q: Can you tease anything about the story arc for next season? It looks like we got a glimpse of Granny Goodness in the season finale.

Welling: Yeah. I hope so. I hope so! I honestly don't know. I wish I could tease something! The idea of Granny Goodness -- which they had to explain to me, as we were shooting it -- I thought was awesome. And I believe that she has this group of younger girls who work for her. I would imagine they would be around this year.

I just know that I would love to see a lot of the people we've seen in the past come back. We saw Annette [O'Toole] last year. I'd love to see John [Schneider] again. I definitely want to see Michael Rosenbaum. I've got to see Lex.

Q: We just saw him in the newspaper [in the season finale dream sequence] running for president.

Welling: Exactly. And whatever we're going to do this year with Clark being propelled into being Superman, how do you do that without a Lex Luthor? You know what I mean? That doesn't make sense to me. So I hope to see him.

Q: Are you excited, filled with trepidation, or a mixture of both about possibly fully wearing that suit?

Welling: Terrified. Absolutely terrified!

Q: Many a fan is wondering if you think you'll be coming back to Comic-Con this summer.

Welling: I'm open! You know what, it was great last year. Let's do it! Yeah.

Q: That's something fans are worried about – that her knowing [Clark is the Blur] isn't going to stick.

Welling: I'd like to see Clark walk into the Daily Planet and have Lana talking to Lois. I wonder what would happen there?

As I posted before, Tom Welling attended an event in Beverly Hills yesterday. There he talked about Smallville and confirmed that this season 10 is going to be the last one.

Actually, it has sense because during season 9 the show developed in a good manner and not only maintain his average rating, further it made possible that the CW network could appears on Friday rankings for first time, opening a new slot for series in a day that normally was almost empty of viewers.

All fans wanted the renewal for season 10 ´cause it will allow to end in a good way this long life series.

Fortunately, the fandom voice was heard and Smallville will finish with , without any doubt, an awesome series finale.

A little bittersweet feeling, of course, but think that now Tom is involved in a new project and he must continue his career.

The Tom Welling´s production HELLCATS is picked up by the CW.

In spite of, the network has its upfronts presentation on Thursday, since about three days ago the rumor was on the web and now is confirmed:

Tom will have a lot to do this year involved in the production of his new series and portraying Clark Kent/The Blurb/Kal-El in Smallville.

GORGEOUS GEEKS REVIEW: SMALLVILLE

A very smart review about all season 9 , but emphasized on season finale SALVATION.
I´m completely agree with several points of their speech:

- In this episode, Clark stablished that LOIS IS THE ONE FOR HE WAS WANTED. He finally admits and speaks out of his love for Lois.

- When CLARK PUNCHED ZOD because he thrown out Lois, that was exactly what he had to do...since he´s Superman and he never will allow that kind of behavior

- ABSOLUTE JUSTICE is one of the most favorite episodes...remember it was directed by Tom Welling (second part)

- To have Tom Welling involucrated in Production COULD BE ONE OF THE REASONS FOR WHAT THE SHOW HAS IMPROVEMENT...better in written and direction comparing with seasons before

- Last words of Chloe to Oliver weren´t credible...whitout any emotion or feeling of love

- Green Arrow-Hawkman dialog was really funny

- SACRIFICE was full epical

- CLOIS KISS are what the fans are wishing all the time

Greg Beeman, who directed the Smallville 100 Episode, when Jonathan Kent dies, is directing now the season 9 finale Salvation.

He is so happy and proud of the cast and crew, because they have grown up, mature and keep the spirit of the story.

Talking about Tom Welling, he said:

I want to tip my hat to Tom Welling who has grown and matured so much since I last worked with him. During the whole of the production of this episode he was also producing the pilot to his new series HELLCATS. And he really was producing it too! As of this moment the show looks very likely to be on CW’s slate next year. That’s an amazing feat. Tom is a true go-getter and I’m quite proud of him.

That´s a great notice for all his fans!

Talking about the episode, he said:

OPENING:
At the beginning it was going to appears Zod but then, they realized that they should focus on Clark´s story, they changed the first scene

Interestingly, the scenes that open the show (The ones where we see Lois in the future and where Clark gets the mysterious package from Martha) were not originally in the episode. The show opened with Lois meeting Zod...It wasn’t really Clark’s story enough – It was too much Zod’s story.

Confirmed, Lois went to the future again.

CHLOE:

She (Allison Mack))was going through some changes on this episode, because she was choosing to move on from the show. It looks like she’ll be back for a couple of episodes but not full time.

Well, it was one of the characters that had the major possibilities of being out of the show...and now it´s confirmed.

THE BIG PROJECT:
All the actions, all the things, all the stuff delivers to the fighting between Clark/Kal-El and Zod

The big project on this episode was the final sequence between Zod and Clark. From the time Clark arrives on the rooftop, through the Kandorians arriving and the Book of Rao placed in the dais and the fight and the rain and Clark getting stabbed and dying and Zod flying away

Have you readen it well? Are you fine?...Yes, Clark dies...but don´t cry I´m sure he´s going to staying alive again like in seasons before when he was mortal and someone shooted him.

INTERVIEW ANETTE O´TOOLE AND MICHAEL McKEAN

This is the complete interview that TV Squad got with Michael and Anette. They talked about Tom, Erica and the shooting of HOSTAGE.

Things have changed quite a bit since Martha's departure for the Senate and Perry's appearance way back in season 3.

TV Squad got a chance to chat with the married pair about their return and while they couldn't answer questions about season 10, they did give us the scoop on returning to the set, Perry's reporting work with Lois (Erica Durance) and how long it would take Clark (Tom Welling) to cook a potato.



How did it feel to be back on the set?

O'Toole: It felt really wonderful. I hadn't been back for two years and a lot longer for Mikey. You hadn't been there in six or something ...
McKean: Yeah.
O'Toole: But it was so much more fun than I expected it to be. They treated us so well, and it was wonderful to see everybody, and a lot of hugging and kissing. And catching up with people I hadn't seen in a long time. It was really, really fun.
McKean: I was a little disconcerted that Tom Welling hadn't aged at all.
O'Toole: Yeah that was a little weird.
McKean: It angered me. [Laughs] I tried to think of some way to accidentally mar his features, but ... it didn't work.
O'Toole: [Laughs] You couldn't hurt him. He's invincible.

He's Superman!
McKean: That's right!


So what do you guys think about how the characters have progressed throughout the seasons?

O'Toole: I haven't watched the show since I was on it. [laughs] So I can't say. I'm being brutally honest. I couldn't tell you.
McKean: You know, a series is, in a sense, is kind of a stall. Any series. I'm talking about great series and the not-so-great. It's kind of a stall. The characters have gone through a lot, and they've remained true to their creators' idea, I think. I don't mean the Lord [laughs], I mean, the people who write the show. And I think that Clark is still very much Clark. Like I said, they've been through a lot and they've remained true, which is all you can really ask. That's kind of an actor's point of view. You want to be in a series that's going to put you through a lot and you're going to remain true to your original concept. I think I dodged that question. I'm just saying it's a good thing.

Now that Lois and Clark are in a relationship, what does Martha think about that?

O'Toole: I think she thinks it's positive. She's always had a really soft place in her heart for Lois. She's kind of been a daughter to her. And for a lot of them. The thing about Martha is that she's been so deprived of female companionship. [laughs] Or friends of any kind, since John [John Schneider] died. I mean, she had to turn to Lionel [John Glover] for support, which is really sad.
McKean: And then the U.S. Senate.
O'Toole: And then the U.S. Senate. There is nothing there. Nothing. [Laughs] So every woman that Clark kind of liked, except for the one he devastatingly married, if that's even a word, she's been really positive about. She just loves Lois. She just thinks that Lois is a great girl. Very independent and fun, but still very emotionally kind of needing of another woman too. So they kind of bonded. And I think she thinks it's a really good thing. It's hard for me, because I don't know what's been going on. I know they've been in a relationship, and Martha is out of it too. She's been in Washington, so I think it's okay that she doesn't know too much.

A few episodes ago, Lois called Martha and asked about a wedding dress. Is that ever mentioned?

O'Toole: No, not that I know of. They talk about something that was in the papers...a wedding announcement or something. We do talk about that in this episode. So I have knowledge of it. But the wedding dress is news to me.

Talk a bit about the relationship between your characters.

McKean: Well, Perry is one of those guys who, by virtue of his own old-fashioned view of what a newsman is, has been kind of a loner. But I mention the three ex-wives, so I guess he's kind of a serial monogamist as well. [laughs] But I think that he probably was sandbagged by Martha's honesty and her maturity. I think that this is a relationship he's not playing at. It's future is very much in question, but it's still something he thinks is worth going for. He's not giving up. I'm not going to give anything away, but there is a certain arc that happens with the relationship in this episode.
O'Toole: It's not a relationship...it's not a full-blown love affair. It's something ... they like each other. She's been alone a long time and he has too. They have some similar views. But she still has a big secret and she's not going to reveal that to just anybody ... who's a reporter! [laughs]
McKean: Yeah. [laughs]

I have to address the Red Queen issue. It's been heavily hinted at that you are the Red Queen. I mean, the red cape and all. Is there anything you can tell us about that part of the storyline?

O'Toole: Not really. I think it's one of those things where we all want to be surprised about. I understand that, in the trailer, a lot of mention is made that Martha is the Red Queen.
McKean: A hint [laughs].
O'Toole: A hint. A hint of mint. But you know, we've been told to keep that a bit under wraps. But on 'Smallville' you never know. You just never know. Something could be absolutely, completely, here it is, and then it turns around and then it's not that. Sorry to be so coy.
McKean: We were told to be coy.
O'Toole: The coyness is not our fault.
McKean: The coyness does not come naturally.
O'Toole: It does not suit us.


There is a shot out of the four of you at dinner. Can you talk about that scene?

O'Toole: It was the first scene we shot. It was really fun, because it was a little bit awkward, being back together, now that two years have passed. But I'm still serving the peas and carrots [laughs]. It was a really fun scene to do. All our scenes around the table. Because we really got to cut up while everyone else was doing their closeups. That's always fun. And it was great to sit at the table and see Tom and Erica and it really felt like we were really parental, didn't it?
McKean: Yeah. It was nice ... occasionally either Erica or Tom would make some reference that would make the other one laugh, and they'd kind of fill us in on it ... it was all the inside jokes. And believe me, you're not going to hear them from us [laughs]. But it was great. The really lovely thing about this show is the real family feel to it. These people have been working together for a long time now. You get to the end of nine years on a series and either you're ready to kill each other, or you become very, very close. And it's turned out that way. I think the people who work on this show are...they're just nice people. They're friendly, smart, talented people and you know, that's a good thing. It's always a good thing to drop into the middle of that like I am, or a returning graduate, like Ms. O'Toole.

I know Perry is working on a story with Lois. Can you tell us anything about that?

McKean: You know what? [Laughs] I had so much complicated expositio... we were tossing these ideas around and I only grasped about half of it. But I do know that it's all connected to this odd symbol that keeps turning up. And also this strange castle in the desert that blew up ...
O'Toole: Oh, I forgot about that!
McKean: Yeah! That was our scene. We're cooking up a story that will set the whole town on it's ear.
O'Toole: It was fun to see them together, especially their first meeting. It's this iconic meeting between these two very important characters in the Superman mythology and it was great to witness that. It was lovely.
McKean: Yeah. And Erica is great. Really hard working and intelligent. She's a terrific girl.

Now that Martha is back, being so important to Clark...does that make her a target to Zod (Callum Blue)?

O'Toole: I saw him briefly when he was going into makeup. [Laughs] I had nothing to do with him or to say to him. And I don't know that Martha is back. I mean, she came back for one episode, so I don't know what that means. I'm just...
McKean: She has a country to run too.
O'Toole: That's right! She has to go talk to Barack!
McKean: That's right. She has to go put Dick Cheney in jail [laughs].
O'Toole: Hey! That's my secret!
McKean: Oh, sorry! [Laughs]

So, has Clark been keeping the house clean enough for you?

O'Toole: Oh! Yes! Because you know, he can do it in like, half a second. He can make a big mess, and then he knows I'm coming and zoom! So he's done that all his life.
McKean: You know, he can cook a potato in eight seconds with his x-ray vision.
O'Toole: I love baked potatoes! He can make sour cream!

Everyone wants to know if we're going to hear some classic lines from Perry White.

McKean: Well, we do get a 'Great Caesar's ghost!' in there [laughs], you'll be happy to know. And I am called "chief"a couple of times. But I don't straighten anybody out. I think we haven't reached the tipping point with "chief." I think eventually I'll have to straighten everybody out. As far as the other Perry White classics ... you have to remember that this is all revisionism. When I grew up, nobody knew Clark's secret identity, except his parents. Nobody. And Lois never knew. Nobody knew. So things have changed. Things are a little bit different. But comic book reality is like Silly Putty. It can be anything that works. So as far as ... I don't look quite like Perry White did in the TV series.
O'Toole: And I look nothing like Martha Kent.
McKean: She was always a million years old.
O'Toole: She was a million years old, right? She had gray hair! [Laughs]
McKean: So if they're playing some kind of a Rubik's Cube game with the reality that I grew up with in comic books, so be it. I think that we're on the same page as far as trying to make Perry a real guy. I think the episode we did six years ago, certainly paved the way for that. Certainly a flawed human being and not just an all-knowing boss.

I wanted to see if there is anything else you can tease for the next episode that won't get you guys in trouble.

O'Toole: Well, we can't get in trouble. What are they going to do? Fire us? [Laughs] Let me think ... it was fun to see that they built the whole Smallville street on the set. On the outside of where we shoot it.
McKean: We used to have to go to another town.
O'Toole: We used to have to drive almost to America to go to Smallville. It was a long, hour and a half drive. And now it's right there...you're makeup trailer is right there. You get to walk through Smallville where the same movie is always playing. [Laughs] And then go to work and come out. And it was really fun to see the people who were working on the show ... they've all moved up! They're all the same people, but they're all a little bit more in charge. A big revelation. [Laughs]
McKean: Oh yeah. A big revelation! A few things have changed and everyone still likes each other. I wish I had a nastier story for you, but I don't.
