WHY TOM DIDN´T WEAR THE SUPERMAN SUIT?

Well, Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson, gave an interview to Hollywood Reporter, talking about the last scene of our favorite show "Smallville"
“What we wanted to do all along was show hints at where he was going because that is a whole different story that is yet to be told,” Peterson told THR. “It felt like it gave just enough without starting to tell a whole different story that is left for all the other media.’
“[Showing Tom in the full suit] to me is just not super relevant and not what we were trying to do,” he said.
“We were actually thrilled that everybody came together and was on board with the shots that we specifically picked,” he added.

“We all wanted it to be the end of Clark Kent’s journey because it’s a show about Clark Kent,” he said. “In the days when we saw him in a flannel shirt, the suit was the furthest thing from his mind.”

We had to wait 3 years before Michael Rosenbaum accepted to return, but...Finally, we got it!

In this video Cassidy Freeman says that she heard about his return by Kriptonsite...so, not only fans were confused, actors were in the same way...Maybe because Michael was refusing all the time to return to "Smallville"...HAHAHA!

WEDDING OR NOT AT THE FINALE?

Kelly Souders said that Clark & Lois relationship will be tested in some different ways... Including the appearance of Jonathan and Martha Kent...

If there is something that fans are awaiting for the last ten years is to have the pleasure of looking Clark "Up, up and away" wearing the Superman costume...

Souders said that they actually know that there are really diehard fans of "Smallville"...So, maybe...

MICHAEL ROSENBAUM HAS FILMED THE FINALE: SMALLVILLE

YEAH! Finally, Michael Rosenbaum decided to hear fans, Smallville producers and of course, Tom Welling...YUPPIII!!!

Well , in fact, it wasn`t so easy...

He`s involved in other project and it seems he was so busy with it, but...

Tom, like a real Superman, made his best effort, he pushed it through, and convinced Michael and producers in order to release a very good finale for the story.

There are so many rumors about why Rosenbaum dilated so far his answer but some people are saying that he asked a lot of money for his return...Then, Tom Welling decided to put up a lot of his own cash to do it, almost his total fee for the finale...

It`s just a rumor I can`t say if it is true or not...

Michael will be on the last episode on May 13th

Smallville ends: Impact over BC film industry

Since this is the last season of Smallville, the West Coast film industry of B.C.(Canada)is lamenting its departure.
Paul Klassen, business representative for the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 891, said that more than 200 hundred cast and crew from Vancouver will lose the 9 month earnigs per year that this awesome production gives up.
He also said:

" Smallville will be remembered as one of the most successful series shot in B.C...and it has showcased what B.C. can deliver"

Richard Lucas, president of Vancouver agency Lucas Talent, said that:

"They (Smallville)have been a very respected and respectful part of our industry for many years...There are very few clients that I represent who have not been cast on the show."

Actually, one of this talents was Kristin Kreuk, who performed Lana Lang for 7 seasons, she said:

"It did everything for my career...Smallville cast a lot of local actors, which was really great. It was a really nice environment to work in...The show was incredibly supportive of everybody there...We all really looked after each other and cared for each other"

Fortunately, the pilot of the new show approved by the CW "Hellcats", was shot by many of the same crew who work on Smallville...So, maybe they´ll have a chance to get this new job and we´ll have the chance to still watching a show with a good quality level.

TOM WELLING CONFIRMS SEASON 10 IS THE LAST

As I posted before, Tom Welling attended an event in Beverly Hills yesterday. There he talked about Smallville and confirmed that this season 10 is going to be the last one.

Actually, it has sense because during season 9 the show developed in a good manner and not only maintain his average rating, further it made possible that the CW network could appears on Friday rankings for first time, opening a new slot for series in a day that normally was almost empty of viewers.

All fans wanted the renewal for season 10 ´cause it will allow to end in a good way this long life series.

Fortunately, the fandom voice was heard and Smallville will finish with , without any doubt, an awesome series finale.

A little bittersweet feeling, of course, but think that now Tom is involved in a new project and he must continue his career.
