Erica Durance, who plays the role of Lois Lane in Smallville said about Teri Hatcher´s role:

"I was shooting another scene at the time [I found out] and it was supposed to be a really funny scene," Durance told Zap2It. "I got the text and I burst into tears. I had an absolute, unequivocal fan moment.I'm thrilled."

And about the returning or not to Clark´s life she said:

"She comes back for Clark, of course!" she revealed. "So far, the stuff that we've done is about her finding out where she fits in with who he is and how she can best be a partner and support him."
